Motlow College accounting students who will graduate this spring or summer and plan to complete accounting degrees at four-year universities are eligible for scholarships from the Elk River Chapter of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, according to Dr. Ward Harder.
Harder is an accounting and business professor at Motlow and a chapter member.
Applications must be submitted to, and received by, Harder by April 15. Applicants, who must be legal residents of Tennessee, can call Harder at 1-931-393-1636 for application forms.
The Elk River CPA Chapter awards two $1,200 scholarships each year. Kerry-Anne DeCamp of Lynchburg and Michelle St. John of Morrison were last year’s recipients.
Chapter members are residents of Bedford, Coffee, Franklin, Lincoln, Marshall and Moore counties.
