Rabies vaccination clinics slated

Posted on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 12:13 pm

Rabies vaccination clinics, sponsored by the Lincoln County Health Department, will be held throughout Lincoln County during the month of March.

Tennessee state law requires that all dogs and cats six months of age must be vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian.

The schedule is as follows: Saturday, March 17, and Petersburg School, 9 until 11 a.m., and Flintville Store, Elora and Blanche School, 1 until 3 p.m.; and Saturday, March 24, Boonshill Community Center, 9 until 11 a.m., and Highland Rim School, South Lincoln School and Dellrose Fire Hall, 1 until 3 p.m.

Price is $10 per animal. Vaccination fee will be the same at local veterinarian offices during the week of March 17-24.

Due to handling problems, please bring cats in cages and dogs on leashes to the vaccination clinics.
