Rabies vaccination clinics slated

Posted on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 5:17 am

Rabies vaccination clinics, sponsored by the Lincoln County Health Department, will be held throughout Lincoln County during the month of March.

Tennessee state law requires that all dogs and cats six months of age must be vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian.

The schedule is as follows: Saturday, March 18, Flintville Store, 9 until 11 a.m., and Petersburg School, Elora and Blanche School, 1 until 3 p.m.; and Saturday, March 25, Highland Rim School, Boonshill Community Center, South Lincoln School and Dellrose Fire Hall, 1 until 3 p.m.

Price is $10 per animal. Vaccination fee will be the same at local veterinarian offices during the week of March 18-25.

Due to handling problems, please bring cats in cages and dogs on leashes to the vaccination clinics.
