The Patrick Rehab and Wellness Center will hold an open house and dedication on Thursday, Nov. 14, from 12 until 1 p.m., with a ribbon cutting at 12:15 p.m.
The Open House will feature facility improvements that have been made in the recent year, as well as a dedication of the new canopy and drive in memory of the late David Groce, CFO of the Lincoln County Health System.
The canopy and drive was the most recent project supported by the Lincoln County Health System Foundation, explained Debbie Pruitt, Foundation president.
“David Groce was the CFO of the Lincoln County Health System and served as executive director of the Foundation. He was instrumental in starting the Foundation and gave many years of service to the people in our community. He was a devoted leader whose primary focus was loving people and giving back to others.
“This project was the last one the Foundation was working on before his passing earlier in the year. The board thought it very fitting for the canopy to be dedicated to his memory.
“The Patrick is a wonderful place utilized by many,” continued Pruitt.
“The new canopy and drive will help to accommodate the patients and members as they utilize the services of the Patrick. The canopy was a much-needed addition, and it will benefit many.
“Please make plans to join us on Nov. 12 as we show this community our wonderful facility and as we remember a very special man and all that he has done for the Lincoln County Health System Foundation.”
