AFS-USA opportunities for high school students to study abroad in some 40 countries (many with scholarships)

WHAT: Application deadlines are drawing near for high school students who wish to take advantage of going on exchanges abroad. Scholarship funding goes early. Students should apply now.

WHEN: The AFS-USA foreign exchanges may be for semester, summer, community service, gap (year after high school) and year long home and language stays.. Many scholarships are available through AFS-USA. Note this information.

All Outbound Sponsored Programs applications are now available! Application deadlines are as follows for these full scholarships funded by the US State Department:
•NSLI-Y: November 1, 2012
•YES Abroad: January 10, 2013 (now offering programs in South Africa and Tunisia!)
•CBYX: January 10, 2013
