The Fayetteville City School system will be kicking off a new girls’ fast-pitch softball program beginning with the 2010 school year.
Girls in the sixth grade at Fayetteville Intermediate School and those in seventh and eighth grades at Fayetteville Junior High School will be eligible.
The program will begin with the spring season of 2011 under rules and regulations of the Tennessee Secondary School’s Athletic Association (TSSAA).
