Motlow College students and area citizens are invited to a Career Fair on Thursday, Oct. 31, at Motlow’s Fayetteville Center, according to Tom Dillingham, director of career planning and extended services at the college.
The Career Fair is scheduled from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., and there is no pre-registration or fee required for students or members of the community to attend the event.
Job seekers are encouraged to dress for success and bring copies of their resumes. The fair provides networking opportunities for businesses and industries to meet prospective employees.
The fair will include the Tennessee Department of Labor’s Career Coach Bus, a mobile center with services similar to those found in a Tennessee Career Center. The Career Coach Bus will be available from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and includes a computer lab with tools for job seekers, such as workshops for resume assistance and interviewing skills.
The Coach also serves as a recruitment center for companies moving into Tennessee and helps identify what employers are looking for from applicants.
