An evening exclusively for the ladies is being planned for Thursday evening, May 9, from 4:30 until 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Museum & Civic Center.
The evening will include a fashion show featuring clothing from local merchants. There will be door prizes during the evening donated by several merchants.
Several local merchants will be participating by setting up a booth. You will have the opportunity to view several items of their merchandise.
Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased from the Main Street office located at 215 College Street East or by calling 433-7006.
“We are still in the planning stage so we encourage any merchant who would like to participate to call and reserve space for their items,” said Carol Foster, Main Street director.
Hors d-oeuvres and refreshments will be served during the evening. The events and activities are planned especially for the ladies’ enjoyment.
The evening begins at 4:30 p.m. with the fashion show beginning at 6 p.m. Ladies of all ages are invited to attend.
“This will be an opportunity for a fun night out, good food and the chance to see first hand a lot of gift and personal items that can be found here in the downtown, as well as in the Fayetteville area,” Foster said.
