Two men have been charged with burglaries in Lincoln County and Madison County, Ala., and may be tied to burglaries in Limestone and Giles counties, as well.
A number of burglaries that occurred on the west side of Lincoln County in the Ardmore Highway area were allegedly committed by Daniel Bolden and Jeremy Blake Newman.
“We now have Newman and Daniel Bolden connected to three burglaries,” said Investigator Doug Boeringer of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department.
Bolden was recently arrested by the Huntsville Police Department and was reportedly apprehended while in the process of a burglary on Highway 53 in Madison County.
On Wednesday, investigators served Newman with a search warrant at his home, where stolen property was found, the investigator said.
“We’re trying to identify how many victims there are,” said Boeringer.
Among the items stolen were tools, electronics, jewelry, a safe and a flat-screen TV.
Newman, 30, of 16 Blanche Circle, was charged with two counts of aggravated burglary, theft of property between $1,000-$10,000 and theft of property more than $500. He was held for court on $100,000 bond.
