Posted on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 1:34 pm

The Fayetteville Lions Club Football Jamboree is scheduled for Aug. 5 at Meadows/Thompson Stadium at Lincoln County High School.

With this year’s realignment of the county middle school football schedule, four teams have been added to the lineup, making a total of six Jamboree games. New are Moore County, South Giles, Richland and Cornersville.

Action gets underway at 5 p.m. Tickets at the gate are $5. Prior to the event, each school will be selling tickets for $4 and will keep the proceeds from early ticket sales.

The Lions Club will offer concessions.

In game one, Moore County takes on Flintville; game two sees South Giles match up with Blanche; Richland takes on Highland Rim in game three; in game four, Huntland meets South Lincoln; game five sees Cornersville take on Unity; and Tullahoma meets Ninth Grade Academy in the final game of the night.
