Lincoln County Schools launches its own app

Lincoln County Schools has announced the launch of the Lincoln County Schools app which is now available for iPhones®, iPads®, Android™, Blackberry™ and Windows™ devices.

The Lincoln County Schools app enables parents, students, alumni, faculty and staff to quickly access all of the who, what, when and where for Lincoln County Schools.

“We know that parents are juggling many tasks on a daily basis with work and family, and the school app is just another communication tool that Lincoln County Schools wants to provide for our parents, teacher, students and stakeholders to stay connected,” said John Fanning, supervisor of 9-12 instruction and assistant to the director of schools.

The Lincoln County Schools app by is free and gives parents and students quick access to:

  • Keep up with all of the latest news, information and announcements
  • Find out about events and activities
  • Contact teachers, staff and administration
  • Access school menus and more
  • Get important documents, picture galleries and other media

The Lincoln County Schools app can also provide students with valuable tools, including:

  • The My Assignments virtual assignment book that students can use to keep up with their homework, upcoming tests and projects
  • A Tip-Line to promote campus safety that allows students to anonymously report tips related to instances of bullying, academic integrity concerns or possible on-campus criminal activity
