Legal Aid offers free advice

Norman Feaster, attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, will be at the Lincoln County Courthouse on Monday, Aug. 13, from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m., to meet with victims of domestic violence and with low-income individuals who need free advice about civil legal problems or other matters.

Gail Corder, Circuit Court Clerk, or anyone in her office, can be contacted for directions to Feaster’s location in the courthouse.

The Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands is a non-profit law firm that provides free legal help for people who have nowhere else to turn. The Tullahoma office of the Legal Aid Society serves clients in the Bedford, Coffee, Franklin, Grundy, Lincoln, Moore and Warren counties. The office is located at 123 NW Atlantic Street, Tullahoma, and may be contacted by telephone at 931-455-7000 and at 866-898-0171 (toll free).

Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Community education materials about a variety of legal matters (in English and Spanish) are available in the lobby of the Tullahoma office, most of the county courthouses in the seven counties above, the local Department of Human Service offices and on the firm’s website www.las.org.
