Lincoln County High School is accepting nominations for the school’s Hall of Fame, which will honor alumni, contributors and educators.
“With approximately 10,000 graduates from Lincoln County High School, we have alumnus that are making or have made great impact throughout their lives either at the local, state or national level,” said Dr. Bill Heath, director of Lincoln County Schools.
“It is important that we honor the past as we move forward and want to recognize these folks in our Hall of Fame.
“I believe it is important for today’s Lincoln County High students to know about these alumni and their accomplishments and to realize the honorees walked the same hallways and sat in the same classes as they do,” Heath added. “In addition to graduates, others’ pathways for recognition in the Lincoln County High School Hall of Fame are as educators and as contributors to the school. We need the community’s help in nominating worthy candidates.”
Nominations are being accepted for LCHS alumni who have gone on to fame and fortune and put Lincoln County on the map, persons who have donated countless hours of time or resources to LCHS and educators who have had lasting impacts on LCHS and its future students.
Nominations are due March 17. Nomination forms can be found on the school system’s website at www.lcdoe.org and should be mailed to Dr. Heath, in care of Lincoln County Board of Education, 206 East Davidson Drive, Fayetteville, TN 37334.
Forms will be reviewed by the Lincoln County Schools Education Foundation.
