Lady Falcons win district opener over Columbia

Lincoln County High School’s Lady Falcons are off to a 1-0 start in District 8-AAA action with a 47-29 win over Columbia Friday night. Earlier in the week, the ladies went down in an out-of-conference road trip with Giles County, 45-29.

Against the Lady Lions, the Lady Falcons controlled the game from the opening tipoff, up 16-7 at the end of one and 22-11 at the break. Lincoln County won the second half, 25-18, for the win

Eleven of the ladies got minutes on the floor. Ally Hall led the scoring with 16; Amelia Kate Richardson, 11; Lucy Higgins, 6; Josie Hall, 6; Millie Slayton, 3; LeLe Stubblefield, 3; Riley Treece, 2.
