Lady Falcon softball team in the chase

Posted on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 3:15 pm

Lincoln County High School’s Lady Falcons should be in the mix for a district title this spring. Though still considered a young team, the ladies lost only one senior to graduation, bringing experience at every position this season.

Last year, the Lady Falcons finished with a 20-16 overall record, while going down to Shelbyville in a 2-1 district tournament battle. This year, Lincoln County is the host school for the tournament.

Senior leaders this year are Emma Summers, Heidi Durham and Maddie Pierce.
