The 13th Annual Kids Fishing Day will be held on Saturday, June 14, at the Stone Bridge Park pond from 8 a.m. until 12 noon.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. at the event.
Some loaner fishing poles and bait will be available.
Over 2,500 pounds of catfish will be stocked, and there will be many tagged prize and money fish.
Children old enough to hold the pole and reel the fish in are eligible up to 12 years old.
Free hotdogs and drinks will be available during the event.
After the event on Saturday, senior citizens, handicapped and children 12 and under may fish from noon until dark with required licenses.
From Sunday, June 15 until further notice, the park will be open to the public with any required licenses during daylight hours only.
Kids Fishing Day is sponsored by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA), Fayetteville Parks and Recreation, Walmart, Elks Lodge and the Lincoln County Mayor and Commission.
