Join in tribute to Rice, long-time drama teacher

This summer, Carriage House Players will present their 100th show during their 30th season.

CHP has chosen a show special in the hearts of Lincoln Countians, The Music Man.

The Music Man is a special show because Lincoln County native and long-time drama teacher, Adnia Rice, starred on Broadway and in the film version of the show.

As a special tribute to her memory, Don Counts has agreed to produce a small video that CHP will run prior to each show. This video will contain recorded tributes from any of her former students, family and friends.

If you would like to record a short tribute, CHP must receive it by July 7. Please email your video to carriagehouseplayer@gmail.com.

If you would like to record your tribute live, CHP will be filming the short tributes at the Lincoln County Museum on Saturday, July 8, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. Please contact Brenda Wilkes at 931-703-1129 if you would like to be a part of this tribute.

Tickets for Carriage House Players’ production The Music Man will go on sale in July. Performances are July 27, 28 and 29 and Aug.  3, 4 and 5 at 7 p.m. at the Lincoln County Museum. Reserve your tickets by calling 931-433-1300.
