PrintCome back home to Howell for Christmas. A country breakfast in the evening will be held Saturday, Nov. 30, beginning at 4 p.m. in the Howell Community Center, formerly the Howell School located off Lewisburg Highway. Santa Claus will be stopping by at 5 p.m. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children. Breakfast will include country ham, pork tenderloin, sausage, eggs, grits, gravy and biscuits, pancakes, baked apples, chocolate gravy, home fried potatos, hot spiced punch and coffee and orange juice. Proceeds from the event go toward the upkeep of the Howell Community Center. Everyone is invited to attend.


Breakfast with Santa will be held Saturday, Dec. 7, from 8 until 11 a.m. at Lincoln County High School. The event benefits the Child Development Center of Fayetteville/Lincoln County.


Farm School Holiday Bazaar, hosted annually by The Farm Community Center and Solar School in Summertown, will be held Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Delicious food and drink will be available, as well as live music and one-of-a-kind gifts. Regular events


Family Caregiver Support Group meetings for Alzheimer’s and other dementias are weld the first Wednesday of each month from 10-11 a.m. at 101 West Lincoln Street, Tullahoma. RSVP to Home Instead Senior Care at (931) 454-2202.


Weekly Saturday night dances are held at the American Legion Post 42, 2007 Wilson Parkway, from 7-10 p.m. The dance is open to the public, and the facility is a nonsmoking building, though a smoking area is provided outside. Country Roads Band plays a mix of country, country rock and classic rock and roll music. The cover charge is $5 per person. The kitchen grill is open for the sale of sandwiches, fries and soft drinks. The American Legion is a nonprofit organization, and proceeds from the dances helps in the funding for the aide to the veterans of Lincoln County.


Lincoln County Senior Citizens Center’s Senior Dance is held each Tuesday from 1 until 4 p.m. Cover charge is $3 per person. A live band is on hand to provide music. Bring a dish to pass or just come and relax, listen to music, dance, eat and enjoy. The Senior Citizens Center is located at 908 West Washington Street, Fayetteville.


Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are held each Monday and Thursday at 7 p.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church, located at 106 East Washington Street in Fayetteville, and each Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 9 a.m. at The Basement, located at the corner of East Market and Franklin in Fayetteville. Senior citizens’ exercise classes are currently being held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. at the Fayetteville/Lincoln County Senior Citizens Center.
