Tennessee Valley Woodworkers will hold the “In the Spirit of Woodworking” showcase March 2-9 at the South Jackson Civic Center in Tullahoma. Beginners Beekeeping Class will be held on four nights: Monday, March 3; Tuesday, March 4; Thursday, March 6; and Friday, March 7. Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday, March 9. Officially, the time change occurs at 2 a.m. Sunday morning, when the time becomes 1 a.m. you are setting your clocks back one hour. Daylight Savings Time ends on Nov. 2.

Weekly Saturday night dances are held at the American Legion Post 42, 2007 Wilson Parkway, from 7-10 p.m. The dance is open to the public, and the facility is a nonsmoking building, though a smoking area is provided outside. Country Roads Band plays a mix of country, country rock and classic rock and roll music. The cover charge is $5 per person. The kitchen grill is open for the sale of sandwiches, fries and soft drinks. The American Legion is a nonprofit organization, and proceeds from the dances helps in the funding for the aide to the veterans of Lincoln County.
Lincoln County Senior Citizens Center’s Senior Dance is held each Tuesday from 1 until 4 p.m. Cover charge is $3 per person. A live band is on hand to provide music. Bring a dish to pass or just come and relax, listen to music, dance, eat and enjoy. The Senior Citizens Center is located at 908 West Washington Street, Fayetteville.
