Greystone Riverdale Farms, located at 314 Eldad Road just outside Fayetteville, will host a dressage schooling show and open house on Saturday, March 16.

The event will be the first hosted at Greystone’s new home, said Kim Carpenter, noting that the open house is free to the public and show entry information is available on the farm’s website, www.greystoneriverdaleevents.com. The dressage show will include gaited dressage, western dressage and classical dressage classes.

The event begins at approximately 10 a.m. Saturday morning and continues until about 4 p.m., she said, adding that the open house during the show offers the community an opportunity to come out and see the facility, meet farm and show staff, take a tour and watch the classes.

“Riverdale Farms offers more than just your typical showground,” continued Carpenter. “In addition to hosting all the dressage at Greystone Events, Riverdale Farms offers services and amenities for all horse lovers.”

Throughout this year, the farm will be adding schooling shows to its calendar, and already a number of other events are scheduled. Those include the Spring Fling Classic on April 20-21; Memorial Days, May 18-19; June Jamboree, June 15-16; Summer Fun Classic, July 13-14; Hot August Nights, Aug. 17-18; Fall Classic, Sept. 7-8; Under the Harvest Moon, Oct. 5-6; and November Championships, Nov. 9-10.
