Goode wins gold medal in voice

Fayetteville’s Carley Beth Goode is congratulated by her teacher, Dr. Beasley, after being presented a National Gold Medal in the Level 5 Voice by the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program.

Carley Beth Goode of Fayetteville has won a National Gold Medal for Level 5 Voice from the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program.

National gold medals are awarded to students achieving the highest mark in the country on their Music Development Program assessment and completing the theory co-requisites for their respective level and discipline. Golds are an exceptional distinction and are the result of hard work, dedication and talent, and are a testament to skill and creativity, said officials. They also represent a national standard of musical achievement.

Carley Beth received a letter of congratulations from Angela Elster, vice president, academic, the Royal Conservatory, recognizing the achievement.
