The Women’s Group of First United Methodist Church will hold its annual bake sale at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23.
There will be homemade pies, cakes, cookies, breads, sweet rolls, candy, canned specialties and other treats available. This is the perfect solution for simplifying Thanksgiving cooking or for freezing for Christmas.
There will also be a wide selection of Rada knives available. They make great wedding or Christmas gifts.
The Women’s Group uses the proceeds of this sale to provide supplies, gifts and parties for local nursing home residents and shut-ins, health kits and birth assistance kits for victims of disasters and care packages for U.S. service personnel serving overseas.
The church is located at 200 North Elk Avenue in downtown Fayetteville, next to Sir’s Fabrics.
Arrive on time for the best selection, organizers advise.
