The 51st Annual Lynchburg Frontier Days Rodeo and Carnival will be June 20-22, three nights and one full day of affordable family fun.
Woody Anderson Ford of Fayetteville is the title sponsor of the eight event rodeo, which starts with a mutton bustin’ at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday; a kids calf scramble each night and fireworks during intermission Saturday.
Tickets are on sale at Roy and Rogers in Fayetteville.
Organizers state that there will be a great carnival, a parade with prize money and ribbons and contests for cherry pie, babies, watermelon eating and dogs and goats. A live auction will be held Saturday at about 12:45 p.m.
Street dancing will be held on Friday and Saturday nights.
