FPU reminds customers of Parks City office closing

Posted on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 2:11 pm

Fayetteville Public Utilities (FPU) reminds its customers that the FPU Parks City office location closed in March 2014.

FPU no longer accepts payments at the night deposit box of the Lincoln County Board of Public Utilities on Huntsville Highway.

FPU accepts utility bill payments at its office at 408 West College Street. Customers are also encouraged to use any of the other convenient payment options offered by FPU.

Currently, there are eight local financial institutions that accept FPU bill payments with three of them having branches in the Parks City area. Those located in Parks City include Regions Bank, First National Bank and Bank of Lincoln County. Other local financial institutions that accept FPU payments include Bank of Frankewing, Peoples State Bank (Ardmore), CB&S, First Bank and First Commerce Bank.

If you need to make FPU utility payments after regular business hours, please check with these banks for night deposit availability.

Other FPU utility payment options include using FPU’s night deposit, standard mail, bank draft and online payment using FPU’s web site. For added convenience, FPU accepts several forms of payments. These include cash, check, money order, credit or debit card and check by phone. Some of these payment types are charged a user fee; check with FPU customer service representatives for details.

If you have questions about utility bill payment options, please call FPU’s customer service department at (931) 433-1522.
