The Elk Valley Forestry Association (EVFA) will hold a general meeting on Thursday, Jan. 17, beginning with registration at 5:30 p.m., followed by a meal at 6 p.m. and a program at 7 p.m.
The meeting will be held at the Gleghorn Center, 77 Clark Avenue, Fayetteville, just north of the Lincoln County Fairgrounds.
The program will include the election of two board members and a presentation on the American Chestnut restoration project and its current status, by Stacy Clark, research forester with the U.S. Forest Service.
