May is the Hot Month for Festivals in North Alabama

In the South, everything is cause for a celebration. We celebrate art, barbeque, catfish, flowers, music, people, you name it! And with spring here, warmer weather means that people are getting back outside to enjoy the outdoors, and what better way to do so than at an annual festival. And May is the hot month for unique festivals in North Alabama! 3rd Friday Downtown Decatur, SoulStock, Alabama Jubilee, UNA Front Porch Storytelling Festival, Limestone Sheriff’s Rodeo, Arts Alive (Florence), Mooresville Historic Weekend, Poke Salat Music Festival (Arab), Catfish Festival (Scottsboro), Coal Fest (Brilliant), and Gadsden’s Riverfest all take place in May.

So spring for a trip and come celebrate all that North Alabama has to offer!
