FCE (Family and Community Education) Week will be observed Oct. 9-13 and feature an open house from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the Ralph Hastings Building on East Davidson Street in Fayetteville.
“You’ll be able to see what each separate club participates in for their community service projects as well as what the FCE does as a whole for the county,” said Lisa Hoffman-Ritter. “There will be refreshments served, photos from past projects and information booths, as well as a quilt display from all over the county.”
In addition, club presidents and members will be available to answer questions and hopefully recruit some new members.
“Come see us on your lunch hour or during a break and enjoy the festivities and gather some information,” Lisa said. “FCE has six chapters spread across Lincoln County. Surely you can find one that is either close to your community or will fit into your schedule.
“Come see what we’re all about, meet some of your neighbors, and enjoy the fellowship of some wonderful ladies!”
