Refurbishing Sign 01For over 75 years, UT Extension has offered a program to better our communities. Known in the past as Home Demonstration Clubs or Extension Homemakers, the Family and Consumer Education (FCE) clubs offer a way to get involved and make a difference in our communities through service and education.

The Dellrose-Hotrock FCE Club’s most recent project has been to refurbish an historical Home Demonstration Club sign that had fallen into disrepair.

In the past, the Dellrose-Hotrock FCE club members have been involved in Relay for Life, Habitat for Humanity, military support, 4-H Sewing Camp, Canning College, school support, the Red Cross, the animal shelter, literacy, Lincoln County Fair volunteers, church work and aiding many of their neighbors who are elderly or ill.

Refurbishing Sign 02Anyone who would like to join this club or any of the five other FCE clubs in Lincoln County may call the Lincoln County UT Extension office Family and Consumer Sciences Agent Shea Austin at (931) 433-1582.
