‘Darkness to Light’ training here May 20

Posted on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 9:58 pm

Junior’s House Child Advocacy Center and CASA have been working hard throughout Lincoln, Bedford, Marshall and Moore counties to present the informative training, “Darkness to Light Stewards of Children”.

This training educates people on how they can prevent child sexual abuse in our communities. One of the recent partnerships Junior’s House made was with the Middle Tennessee Education Center in Shelbyville. Director Wayne Dillingham and Tracey Harden made this beautiful facility available to Junior’s House and were gracious hosts.

MTEC provides adult education opportunities in a variety of areas as well as a hometown solution for students who are looking for college classes closer to home. Students who are looking for a brief commute or looking for a class to simply fit their schedule should seriously consider this beautiful and convenient location. Their website is www.mteducationcenter.com.

The staff at Junior’s House was grateful to be able to join hands with MTEC for the “Darkness to Light Stewards of Children Training”. Juniors House hopes to be able to do more with them in the future.

The next “Darkness to Light” training will be on Tuesday, May 20, at Juniors House CAC & CASA at 704 West Maple Street from 6-8:15 p.m.
