Petersburg Proud Day, set for June 22, will feature something for everyone, from an antique car cruise-in and sock hop to a 5K run.
The day kicks off with the Second Annual 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Walk, sponsored by the Petersburg Parks and Recreation Department. Late registration is from 6:15 until 6:45 a.m. on race day. The 5K Run/Walk starts at 7 a.m. T-shirts will be available to all who register, with late registration subject to availability.
Entry fee is $25 before June 10; $30 until race day.
The 1 Mile Fun Walk begins at 8:15 a.m.
The top finishers in each age group in the 5K, as well as the overall male and female, will receive awards.

The antique car cruise will begin the evening slate of activities. Cars will line up at Morgan Park at 5:30 p.m. and parade onto the square at 6 p.m. to kick off a sock hop. All antique cars are welcome.
Food will be sold starting at 5 p.m. The sock hop will get underway at 6 p.m. on the square. Step back in time and enjoy coke floats, a 1950s dress-up contest, a hula hoop contest, games for kids, vendors, 1950s classic music and more.
