      Dinner & Trivia Night will be hosted by the Lincoln County FFA Alumni on Saturday, Feb. 6, in the Lincoln County High School Cafeteria. A silent auction will be held from 4-7:30 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m. followed by trivia. There will be a cash giveaway, door prizes and live music. The event includes a Soup and Chili Cook-Off, with awards for Best Tasting, Best Presentation and Most Exotic. Individual tickets are $10, and trivia tables are available for $75, which includes dinner and trivia for eight players. There will be a cash prize of $100 for the winning team.       7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

      Weekly Saturday night dances are held at the American Legion Post 42, 2007 Wilson Pkwy., from 7-10 p.m. The dance is open to the public. The facility is a nonsmoking building, though a smoking area is provided outside. Country Roads Band plays a mix of country, country rock and classic rock and roll music. The cover charge is $6 per person. The kitchen grill is open for the sale of sandwiches, fries and soft drinks. The American Legion is a nonprofit organization, and proceeds from the dances helps in the funding for the aide to the veterans of Lincoln County.

    1. 28th Annual Stones River Region, AACA Swap Meet and Car Show
      6:30 am – 3:30 pm

       The 28th Annual Stones River Region, AACA Swap Meet and Car Show will be Sunday, Feb. 7, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds in Nashville. A $5 donation is required for anyone over age 12 and free to anyone under 12. Concessions will be available. Vendors can purchase 10’ x 10’ heated spaces for $45, a car corral for $25 or covered outdoor spaces for $35.       Senior citizens’ exercise classes are currently being held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. at the Fayetteville/Lincoln County Senior Citizens Center.       Lincoln County Senior Citizens Center’s Senior Dance is held each Tuesday from 1 until 4 p.m. Cover charge is $3 per person. A live band is on hand to provide music. Bring a dish to pass or just come and relax, listen to music, dance, eat and enjoy. The Senior Citizens Center is located at 908 West Washington Street, Fayetteville.

      Grief Support Group is sponsored by Lincoln Medical Home Health & Hospice. Anyone in the community who has lost a loved one is invited to attend the Grief Support Group. The meetings are the second Tuesday of each month at noon and the fourth Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. They are held at Lincoln Home Health & Hospice, located at 1797 Wilson Parkway.
