Fayetteville High School’s Tigers took two losses last week. Friday on the road, the Tigers went down to Loretto, 63-41. Tuesday, FHS dropped a double overtime battle at home with 3-A Coffee County, 60-56.
At home against the Red Raiders, the Tigers trailed 14-10 at the end of one. FHS won the second frame, 10-8, and trailed 22-20 at the intermission.
Fayetteville took the lead in the third, taking the period 13-8, and was up 33-30 headed to the fourth.
The final frame was back and forth. At the 4:41 mark, the Raiders regained the lead, 36-35. With 3:41 in regulation, the Tigers trailed 41-35, but the action was far from over.
