Belvidere Firemen set annual fish fry

Live bluegrass music will accompany Belvidere Firemen’s Fish Fry on Saturday, Oct. 19, beginning at 11 a.m.

Offerings include all-you-can-eat fish, barbecue chicken, chicken strips and all the trimmings, including homemade desserts. For more information on the fish fry, contact Tim Yannayon at (931) 580-0708.

Live bluegrass music will be featured by “Sweet Fancy Moses Old Time Music”, “Lost in Time”, “Lonesome Valley Bluegrass”, “The Sims Family” and “Carl Johnson & Rock Creek Grass”.

Plates are $11 for adults; children four to 12 are $5; and children under four, free.

Additionally, Belvidere Valley Lawn and Garden Pullers Association are hosting a Pulling in Competition for free at the same location beginning at 12 noon. To enter the competition, contact Mike Moore at (931) 273-9314.
