Rowena Cox, who will celebrate her 103rd birthday on Jan. 16, voted by absentee ballot during early voting.
Rowena and her husband, Walter, were with Western Auto and moved to Fayetteville in 1947.
Mrs. Cox now lives in a local assisted living center.
