Fayetteville Main Street will host its annual “A Moment in May” on Thursday, May 22, from 5-7 p.m. at the Fayetteville/Lincoln County Museum and Civic Center.
An informative and fun evening is being planned, and it will include a fashion show featuring clothing from local merchants.
Several local merchants will be participating by setting up a booth and displaying their items to view. Door prizes, donated by participating merchants, will be given out during the evening.
Tickets may be purchased for $15 at the door or in advance at the Main Street office located at 215 College Street East or by calling (931) 433-7006.
Hors d-oeuvres and refreshments will be served during the evening. The events and activities planned are especially for the ladies’ enjoyment, but gentlemen are always welcome.
The evening starts at 5 p.m., and the Fashion Show begins at 6 p.m.
“This will be an opportunity for a fun night out, good food and the chance to see first-hand a lot of gifts and personal items that can be found in our downtown, as well as in the Fayetteville area,” said Carol Foster, Main Street executive director.
