The Fayetteville Middle School cheerleaders, along with sponsor/coach Tiffany Watson, will hold a cheerleading clinic for ages 4 through 12 on Saturday, June 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost for the clinic is $25 and includes a t-shirt, pom poms and an invitation to cheer at the first FMS home football game on Sept. 5. The 12th Annual Kids Fishing Day will be held Saturday, June 8, at Stonebridge Park Pond in Fayetteville. South Lincoln Middle School cheerleaders are once again holding a mini cheerleading camp this summer. Camp will be held July 10-12 from 2:30 until 5:30 p.m. each day. The camp is for ages five-years (entering kindergarten) to fifth grade in the fall of 2013. Activities will include the fundamentals of cheerleading suitable for each age group. The participants will learn a short dance, cheer, chants, simple stunting and various jumps.
