Calling All Community Heroes Story Hour will be held throughout the month of June at the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Public Library. Be a fire chief and meet local firefighters on June 3. The K-9 police unit will be on hand on June 10. Learn what to do in an emergency when an EMT will visit on June 17. The month will round out on June 24 with a visit from the mayor.

Heroes of Science will be held at the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Public Library on Friday, June 5, at 11 a.m. Join the group and learn about super heroes who changed the world through science.
The Lincoln County Retired Teachers Association will meet Wednesday, June 10, at Shoney’s Restaurant on Huntsville Highway at 11:30 a.m. All active and retired teachers are invited to join the group for this very important meeting about what is happening in the state legislature to protect the rights of retired and future retired educators.
