Edna F. Amos, 79, of Elora, died Thursday evening (Nov. 28, 2013) in Huntsville Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Amos was a native of Madison County, Ala., the daughter of the late Roy and Sadie Cantrell Fenn. She was retired from NASA and a member of the Oakley Baptist Church. Mae Frances “Chick” Abbott, 69, of Fayetteville, died Sunday (Nov. 17, 2013) at her residence. She was employed by Amana Refrigeration and was a faithful member of St. Paul AME Church. Funeral services were held Saturday at the St. Paul AME Church with the Rev. Chris Grizzard officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant View Cemetery. Barbara Jean Mitchell Bradford, 72, of Fayetteville, died Monday night (Nov. 11, 2013) in Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga. A native of Lafayette, Ga., she was the daughter of the late James Clifton and Mildred Harper Mitchell. She spent her working years as a devoted teacher and basketball coach at LaFayette High School. Upon retirement, she relocated to the Fayetteville Bradford farm where she enjoyed working outdoors among God’s creations.

Doris Lineberger Farrar, 89, of Fayetteville died Tuesday (Oct. 29, 2013) in Heritage Medical Center in Shelbyville. She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Joseph Lannes and Ruth Connelly Lineberger. Mrs. Farrar was a former employee of Serbin Fashions and a member of the Cyruston Church of Christ. She was also a member of the Lincoln County Home Demonstration Club and loved quilting. Survivors
Steven Lewis Adams, II, 40, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday (Oct. 23, 2013) at his residence. Mr. Adams was born Oct. 15, 1973 in Sandusky, Ohio, to Steve Adams and Valerie Peek Adams. Virgil Bevels, 77, of Fayetteville, died Monday evening (Oct. 14, 2013) in Huntsville Hospital. A native of Lincoln County, Mr. Bevels was the son of the late Parvin Bevels and Mabel Gault Bevels.
