Gift Wrapping and Santa’s Workshop will be held at St. Paul AME Church on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 9 a.m. until noon in the church fellowship hall. The event is hosted by the Young Adults and Youth Departments of St. Paul. There will be free gift wrapping, cookies, doughnuts, hot chocolate and coffee. Several members of the Lincoln County community gathered at Riverside Christian Academy last Wednesday to pray for our community, state, and nation and to enjoy a meal together and hear a word from State Sen. Jim Tracy. Tracy spoke to the audience about his campaign for a seat in the U.S. House as the representative of Tennessee’s fourth congressional district. The primary election will take place in August of 2014.

Tabatha Marr of Tullahoma shared her faith, her experiences and what she learned as a missionary to New Guinea recently with the Booneville United Methodist Church congregation. Before her presentation, Tabatha and her friends were treated to a delicious breakfast. Many of her family members attended the church to hear about her experiences, as well. The folks at Booneville United Methodist Church in Lincoln County are getting organized again this year to invite the public to come and share Thanksgiving Day lunch together on Nov. 28 in the fellowship hall. Bob Hinson, Sunday school teacher, is the leader of this big project for a small church. Everyone pulls together with cooking and baking for this meal to be a grand success. David Arrington is the
