New City Board to gather next week

An organizational meeting of the new Fayetteville Board of Mayor and Aldermen is planned for Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the City Municipal Building.

Newly elected board members, Gwen Shelton and Michael Whisenant, as well as re-elected incumbent Danny Bryant are expected to be sworn in during the meeting. Shelton was the top vote-getter, followed by Bryant and Whisenant. The meeting will get underway at 5 p.m.
