CHP Rehearsals

Donna Hartman and Tommy Ward rehearse a scene from “Christmas Bells”, Carriage House Players’ latest production at the Fayetteville/Lincoln County Museum and Civic Center.

Carriage House Players’ Production of “Christmas Belles” is in its final weekend at the Fayetteville/Lincoln County Museum and Civic Center.

Written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten, “Christmas Belles” is the much-anticipated sequel to last year’s local hit, “Dearly Beloved”. It is directed by Andrea Delap with Jennifer Bradford serving as assistant director.

“It’s Christmas time in Fayro, Texas, and the Futrelle sisters are at it again,” said Delap. “This time they are in charge of the annual Christmas program. Hilarity ensues as things start to go awry.

“Half the characters come down with food poisoning from the Band Boosters’ Pancake Supper the night before, the director of the last 27 Christmas programs keeps trying to take over, and Santa Claus is passing a kidney stone,” she said. “All this and more add to the Christmas program that the citizens of Fayro will never forget.”

The cast for CHP’s final play of their 25th anniversary season is made up of Brandi Barnes, Randy Delap, Kim Gray, Tammy Haney, Donna Hartman, Mark Mitchell, Sara Jo Pierce, Ben Spears, Tommy Ward, Brenda Wilkes and Sharon Williams. The crew is made up of Sonia Bradford, Sara Brown, Sarah Butler and Heather Gray.

This weekend’s performances are at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, Nov. 15, 16 and 17.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students, and are available at Bagley and Bagley Insurance Agency, The Book Inn, Carter’s Drug Store, Elk River Coffee Co., The Flower House, Parks Jewelers, Regions Bank and Sissy’s Antiques. You can also make reservations by calling (931) 433-1300 or emailing carriagehouseplayers@gmail.com.
