Benefit for local cancer patient set
Benita Cordelia Waller Brooks
A benefit has been planned for Mrs. Benita Cordelia Waller Brooks on Nov. 10 at the Greater Bethel AME Church, Nashville, at 3 p.m.
Mrs. Brooks has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and her husband has been laid off from his job.
The Greater Bethel AME Church, of which she is a very active member, is coming together to sponsor the benefit and help Benita through this walk of courage and faith.
Tickets will be sold for $25 each, and donations in any amount will go a long way for a great cause.
Benita is the daughter of Polly Jeter, who is employed by the city of Fayetteville as an E911 dispatcher.
Please make your checks payable to Greater Bethel AME Church, Benita Brooks or Polly Jeter.
The local contact is Dorothy Small at (931) 433-3203 or Joyce Eady at (931) 433-6041.
