The Lincoln County Imagination Library is bringing back a children’s favorite from the past during this year’s “Fayetteville … Host of Christmas Past” festival.

The Elves Workshop will be located in the multi-purpose room on the second floor of the Fayetteville Municipal Building on the east side of the square.

The times for the workshops, to be held Saturday, Nov. 10, will be 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. The cost will be $10.

Children will be able to make crafts, enjoy Christmas cupcakes, cookies, and sing Christmas songs.  The elves will help children experience the magic of Christmas.  Mrs. Claus will be reading stories.

Patty Trigg and Maryland Greene will be there to entertain the children with the Christmas classic “Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer”.

Trigg, who authored the song, brought friends and fellow artists to the Trigg farm last Sunday to record a music video for a new song, “It’s A Merry Christmas When Pigs Fly”, that she co-wrote with Huntsville’s George Wells.
