Horseman’s October Fest Saturday

Due to flooding of the grounds last Saturday, Oct. 13, the Lincoln County Horseman’s Association October Fest Show will be held this Saturday, Oct. 20.

Reining starts at 12 noon, followed by trail obstacle at 1 p.m., rail classes start at 3 p.m., and speed events at approximately 5 p.m.

The costume contest for riders will start after the stick horse and land line classes and will be judged, so dress up in your favorite costume. There will be an award for the best costume.

Reining Pattern NRHA 3 is being used for the reining classes for this show.

A full concession stand will open at 10:30 a.m. for those arriving early to set up and warm-up their horses.

The horse show grounds is located at 8 Wilkes Road in Fayetteville just off Highway 431 North or the Lewisburg Highway. For more information, contact President Ron Pearson at (931) 625-0316 or Vice President Lex Hyde at (931) 625-5594.
