Robert (Rob) Carter is sworn in by Circuit Judge Lee Russell as the District Attorney General to the 17th Judicial District during ceremonies Wednesday at the Lincoln County Courthouse. Comprising the 17th Judicial District are Lincoln, Bedford, Marshall and Moore counties. Carter succeeds Charles (Chuck) Crawford, who had held the seat since being elected to it in 2006.
