Dr. Jonathan Hughes
Dr. Jonathan R. Hughes, formerly of Fayetteville, has accepted a position with Bristol Anesthesia Services in Bristol as a cardiothoracic anesthesiologist.
This medical group provides care at Bristol Regional Medical Center, which is part of the Wellmont Health System.
Dr. Hughes is a 1998 graduate of Lincoln County High School and attended the University of Tennessee.
He attended East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City. He was accepted into a four-year anesthesiology residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Ala., and then completed a cardiothoracic anesthesiology fellowship at Wake Forrest University in Winston-Salem, N.C.
He and his wife, Nicole, and their daughter, Lily, now reside in the Bristol area.
