FoL hosts Dog Days Field Party Saturday

Friends of the Library will present the first annual Dog Days Field Party at Cotton Mill Preserve on Saturday, July 28, from 5 until 11 p.m.

Barbecue, children’s games and three musical acts are included in the ticket price of $20 in advance for adults, $5 for children under 12 and free admittance for children under six.

Tickets are available at Dixie Smith, Bagley & Bagley, Carter’s Drug Store, Ivy Wreath and Southern Treasures. Tickets at the gate will cost $25 per person for adults and $8 for children under 12, but children under six will still be admitted free.

Performers include Daniel Harry, acoustical guitarist, Jimmy Rutledge and 12 Miles North, a Scottsboro band.
