Volunteers are needed for FLC Museum
The Fayetteville/Lincoln County Museum Association invites anyone interested in volunteering at the Museum to attend a volunteer morning meeting on Saturday, April 26, at 9 a.m. in the Museum.
Refreshments will be served, and door prizes and tours given for any volunteer who may not be familiar with the Museum layout. All committed volunteers who have helped keep the Museum open from May to November in the past years are also encouraged to attend.
The Fayetteville/Lincoln County Museum is open from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. each Thursday, Friday and Saturday from May 1 to the weekend of Host of Christmas Past the second weekend in November. Volunteers make it possible to keep the Museum open during this time, and they are needed this year more than ever.
Please call Marie Caldwell at (931) 433-7504 if you would like to volunteer or if you plan on attending the meeting on April 26. The meeting will be in the board room, which is adjacent to the garden, in the right side of the building. The Fayetteville/Lincoln County Museum Association is very appreciative of the many volunteers who give of their time so the community can visit and enjoy the memories of yesteryear housed in the old Borden Milk building.
