Higgins plans spring workshop

Higgins Funeral Home cordially invites the public to the upcoming “Spring Workshop” which will be held on April 23 from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Washington Street Church of Christ, located at 209 Washington Street East, Fayetteville.

This event will provide attendees with unique information from the following guest speakers before lunch is served: Attorney John Richardson, legal Issues involving estate planning, last will and testament and power of attorney; Wendell Cheek, State Deputy Commissioner of Veteran’s Affairs, Veteran’s Benefits; Sheriff Murray Blackwelder, current public safety issues; Patrick Wellness & Rehabilitation, wellness information involving nutrition and exercise; and Jayson Davis, Family Service Counselor, living wills.

“We had our first workshop in November, and it was so successful that we decided we wanted to continue them and offer a variety of topics so our families will have access to a variety of subjects that will hopefully enhance their lives. We appreciate the opportunity to serve this community,” said Clay Higgins of Higgins Funeral Home.
