Tablescapes event slated this weekend

Tablescapes 03 --Fayetteville Main Street, Motlow State Community College and Fayetteville-Lincoln County Museum will be hosting their 3rd Annual Tablescapes Event on Friday, March 7, and Saturday, March 8, at the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Museum.

“On Friday, March 7, from 4 until 6 p.m. join us for an evening full of fascinating and interesting Tablescapes. Check out all of the creative ideas from the themed decorated tables. On Friday night, you will have the opportunity to vote for your favorite Tablescape while enjoying fun and fellowship,” said Carol Foster, Fayetteville Main Street director.

“On Saturday beginning at 10:30 a.m., you will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious brunch sitting at one of the themed Tablescapes. You will also hear the announcement of the Tablescape winners and receive a table party favor,” Foster continued.

The guest speaker will be Courtney Michaels, a scholarship recipient from Motlow Community College.

Tickets for Friday night may be purchased at the door for $5. Tickets for Saturday’s Brunch may be purchased in advance for $20 by calling 433-7006. Friday night is a come and go, and no reservations are required. Reservations are required for the Saturday luncheon.
